Comment : willing to try anything

I am willing to try anything to make the healing process easier -- and faster. I'll try those moves. I do a lot of back leg lifts when I am walking because it helps to relieve the stress on my knee from keeping my leg elevated (and bent). But this seated thing is new to me. I have been flexing my toes and wiggling them all along, in part because in the beginning I was also anxious to make sure that the blood was flowing to my toes. Maybe, as you have, I should have been more worried about keeping things immobile.
This is all so disturbing. Why don't we know what is the best thing to do for our own bodies?
I definitely remember -- when they changed the cast at 2.5 weeks -- being scared that I couldn't move my ankle upward (to 90 degrees). It felt like the signal from my brain wasn't getting to my muscles. That is something I just couldn't deal with emotionally.
I'm so glad for you that you finally have your cast off! I can see the end in sight for me.
