Well if you ask me that sounds bad enough. Sorry that happened to you. I was at work on a ladder and the ladder collapsed and my arm hit the leg of the letter and then the middle of my forearm to my hand twisted back in the opposite direction. I shattered one bone and broke the other into three-four pieces. I had a four hour surgey with hardware(2 plates and 20 screws) and spent four days in the hospital. I had my cast for 9 weeks, and I am about three months out right now and back in OT. The doctor said I have a possible TFCC tear(on the right side of my wrist) and my bones are still not healing well and if OT doesn't help them grow and get stronger I might have to have a bone graft(where they take bone from either your ribs, hip, or leg, or from a cadaver and there is an artificial thing they can use) I am hope it doesn't come to this. Wish me luck. I truly hope you get to feeling better soon, and good for you for wanting to hurry up and get back to things. Remember just because your break may have not been as "bad" as others, for your body and for you it was a big deal and it was bad. So just get well soon and welcome to the site, there are a lot of wonderful people here.
