I have not tried any single track yet. The reason is my calf is weak and I know I have no climb in me. I am working at the gym to regain strenght and I expect (hope) to give some easy single track a go soon. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I am a lot more active now and I get so tired I hardly get online!! Do you have facebook? If so send me a friend request, I am found easily via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Flexibility is still an issue. If you are allowed get some resistance bands. Also, flex it as often as you can and to the point where it is uncomfortable but not too painful. And flex to the cieling, to the floor and sit cross legged, hold the foot and flex it up and to the right and left. These are the motions I went through.
