Hey Auria
I know exactly how you feel - my foot is also taking forever to heal. If you're bored, my diary is under "Chanti".

Your injuries are not from an accident? That sounds like what happened to my mom a few years ago. She suddenly developed a painful ankle and foot - it swelled up horribly and she could hardly walk. She saw an OS who put her in a cast and it turned out to be the wrong thing to do. After 7 weeks the cast came off and her foot was purple as well as her lower leg all the way to the knee. There was no change.

She went for a second opinion and was told to see a physiotherapist specializing in acupuncture. Well, what a diference. Within 2 weeks she was much better and walking again without crutches.

Note: I'm not saying that being in a cast is wrong for you, but if you have osteoarthritis like my mom did - try exploring the acupuncture option, it was the only thing that worked for her. Two years later the same thing happened to the other foot, she went straight back to her physio and it got sorted out straight away. She's had no problems for the last 5 years and she is 64!

About your other questions: I know all about broken bones that don't show up on x-ray. In fact, because of that I didn't know about all my other injuries until last week. (maybe a good thing, I would've gotten even more depressed!)

Hope it goes well and you heal up just fine. Remember we're all here if you wanna vent!
Cheers
Chanti
