Eric_L : Spiral tib/fib fracture after thrown from PWC
Diary entry posted Sat 8:55pm 12 January 2019

I finally made the 75 yard swim to the back of the pwc and since I was in deep water knew it would be challenging to get back aboard and frankly I was scared to see my leg, assuming I had a compound fracture due to the rapidly increasing pain, and in ability to see it in the dark water with twilight from the setting sun. I really cannot tell you how I got on that pwc, but I did in the first try, guess it was pure adrenaline and shock that I had really hurt myself out in the lake with no help nearby. I manually handle my left leg into position, and it took quite the effort to not scream out, and my foot dangled and bones ground on one another, finally I was stable and in position to ride towards the boat ramp.
