Comment : Great Progress!

Hi!

That is so awesome how well you are doing. I followed the references to dance you made. I was a gymnast (in a past life!) and was thrilled when I could finally get up on the ball of my bad foot and practice some moves. And I am constantly working on my toe point, which right at the moment is a bit bizarre looking. But I figure when I get my toe point back really pretty, I will have my full flexibility back, at least in that direction. My dorsi-flexion (the other direction) is almost all the way back. It's the side to side movement, and the stiffness in my achilles that is my nemesis right now, although it is slowly improving. I can SO relate to your comments about PT. I had a session yesterday, and today is another OUCH day. I had a friend of mine who is a massage therapist work on my foot last night, and today it is so stiff and sore it is frustrating. I guess a PT session and a massage is too much in one day. I keep telling myself the same thing you are; no pain, no gain. Boy these breaks teach you patience! All the best to you in your continued progress! Annie
