Flanagan : This and That, and nothing too important (yawn)
Diary entry posted Mon 11:08pm 6 June 2005

I've been feeling really good this week.

My ankle feels healed, stable. The problems that I am left with (restriction of movement when my foot is flat, Pain in the ankle, not being able to raise up onto the ball of my foot, etc) seems to be caused by the hardware. This metal is holding me back from making a full recovery. It's getting in the way, that's for sure.

This week I will buy sneakers that have 2"heels.(hopefully I can find such a pair) I will be able to play tennis, basketball with my kids, and even go running again. I can't comfortably do these things unless my heels are raised up 2". Lower than that, I feel restriction in my ankle, and I'm assuming it's from the hardware. (or the loose screw)I try to wear heels all of the time now.Flat shoes cause my ankle pain and restriction in movement. Also, I have restricted knee bend in a flat shoe.

I bought a jar of ScarZone scar diminishing creme. I figured what the heck, I may as well see if I can improve these scars. If it works, good. If it doesn't work, it's really no big deal.
The creme has a moneyback guarantee. It's also got a built in sunscreen. :)

annoying song in my head that goes back to when I was 8yrs old> "Elusive Butterfly" by Bob Lind

You might wake up some mornin'
To the sound of something moving past your window in the wind
And if you're quick enough to rise
You'll catch a fleeting glimpse of someone's fading shadow
Out on the new horizon
You may see the floating motion of a distant pair of wings
And if the sleep has left your ears
You might hear footsteps running through an open meadow

Pretty song, but enough is enough. It's been playing in my head for several days.
