Update: Just got back from my 6-week follow-up and I now have PWB status. Everything looked good- callus is forming around broken area. X-rays still show it as broken but there is this cloudy area round it and my OS said that was promising. Will see him in 6-week again. PT said I need to move my knee more and to be able to lift my leg more quickly from the knee. I can hardly do it right now. It's very stiff. In about a week I can try stairs. I am excited- it was all good news. I asked about a bone density test and my OS said that he's not concerned about that- he's seen this type of break in 20 yr olds (I'm 40). I'm taking vitamin D3 and Magnesium but I'm drinking/eating milk/yogurt/cheese for the calcium. Anyone doing different vitamins?
