Ooohhh.............. that does sound good!! Once you start moving around, you'll be surprised how quickly it goes. Even now ~ eighteen months post break ~ I'll draw circles in the air with my foot when I'm sitting down relaxing. You can even try marching in place while you're sitting to exercise your knees. Don't get discouraged if you find the stairs particularly challenging, EVERYONE seems to have a rough time mastering them. They seem to be the last big hurdle.......IMHO anyway. I'm taking a Multivitamin, Calcium, and D3. Good luck and don't overdo!!
