Yes, the emotional angle of a BL is something many know nothing of and I don't think the medical profession give it enough weight either. All your feelings of sadness, frustration and fear are totally normal. It would I think be rather abnormal if you sailed on regardless. Please take some comfort from the knowledge that many have hobbled along this stony path before you and made it back into the light. Courage!

20 weeks with broken tib /fib! Slow healing. Casts (5)
Week 26 Tibia healed 50% aircast
Week 33 Tibia 95% healed so boot outdoors and cane no boot indoors
Wk 36 Start PT
Week 39 Ditch boot.
Wk 43 Driving and normal trainers
Wk 46 Discharged
