Remeber I was giving best-case times! Could take longer. If you are lucky, the checkup will show that your bones have stayed where they should be. You might need a cast change (as you lose muscle form disuse, the cast can get too loose, which risks bone movement). If you are unlucky, the bones will have shifted and need putting back into position. Which will be painful. (I consider myself lucky to have had a plate put in for my fibula, so there was no risk of it shifting).
Note: even if all appears to be going well, do NOT, repeat do NOT be tempted to try to walk in the cast. That leads to re-breaking the bones. You don't want to do that. Also beware e.g. wet kitchen or bathroom floor while you are on crutches.

ORIF plate 18 June. Cast problems (allodynia) so boot from 25th but NWB.
25 July start PWB in boot, 7 Aug PWB without boot. 14th Aug few steps FWB.
9 Sept 10-steps jog 25 Sept: PT says go run!
