Thanks, Michelle. That's good to hear. I'm at 7-weeks and counting. I feel that diet is huge as well as having a good night sleep. I'm drinking milk, fortified oj, taking vitamin d3 supplements and some magnesium, plus I've purchased multi vitamins and salmon oil tablets (don't take these regularly). I also take powdered greens. I've never heard of cissus quadrangularis- I will look this up. The sleeping issue is still something I'm trying to tackle. I keep waking up for washroom breaks, which makes me tired in the morning. It's interesting that they waited so long to provide you with surgery. That must have been hard. I waited for 3 days and it was not good. Plus they didn't say I had a choice about surgery. Now with this hardware in my leg, I'm supposed to heal faster but I'll never know if I could have healed better without it- I guess I should make a point of asking the surgeon at the next follow-up.
It's good to know you are back to normal! Thank you!
