 Partner's Broken Leg
Agatha    7:04am Mar 5 2017

Looking for some guidance. My parter has fractured tibia and fibula, on a boot with crutches for the next month. No driving, not sure when he'll go back to work. I work part-time from home so I manage meals, errands, etc. He's mostly on the sofa as he finds that the most comfortable, but he does his PT exercises regularly, tries to sit outdoors for awhile each day, and is determined to recover fully.

He hates his lack of independence so I manage carefully, trying to find that balance between providing for him when he can't but staying out of his way when he can. It's a short-term stressor on the relationship, which is hard on both of us.

Would love to hear advice, reassurance, guidance, tips and tricks for helping both of us get through this.

Thanks very much!
