Re: Broken femur, going bonkers at home
Xavier Liebaert (83.136.43.---)   1:25pm Mar 5 2017

Thank you everyone for your kindness.

I can - in theory- work from home, but can't concentrate on any task more than 10-15 minutes at the moment. It makes reading interesting: I have to re read entire pages because i can't recall what i just read (or why I needed 3 weeks to read a 275 page book 😀). Bandwith /network speeds to the company I work for is also problematic.

I am trying anyway, just needs a bit more effort.

On the bright side, I finally managed to put on my own socks and tie my shoelaces yesterday (yay!!!). I also think one of the loose bone shards is reattaching itself: I heard something crack when I pulled my knee up (didn't hurt, just surprised).

Right femur subtrochantal spiral fracture 1/6/17
Surgery 1/7/17 femoral IM nail, 3 screws
Discharged from hospital 1/20/17, 20% PWB
1st PT 2/8/17, 20%PWB
2/28 : 50% PWB
