Jo, just because you've started weight bearing doesn't mean that your circulation is back to normal - you need to elevate the leg between walking - and if time is short then lie on your back with your legs up against a wall!
And it takes energy to start redeveloping your muscles, so of course you will be tired. And it's going to hurt, because you're using muscles and joints that have not been used for some weeks - and pain is tiring...
Compression socks are an excellent idea and I'm glad they are helping you.

ORIF plate 18 June. Cast problems (allodynia) so boot from 25th but NWB.
25 July start PWB in boot, 7 Aug PWB without boot. 14th Aug few steps FWB.
9 Sept 10-steps jog 25 Sept: PT says go run!
