Welcome :) First of all, I'm shocked you've managed to get away with no cast and full weight bearing so soon after a tibia fracture!

As to the swelling and blood pooling, it will take time for the muscles and such to work properly again to circulate the blood as well as it should. You should probably continue testing and elevating as much as possible when you don't absolutely need to be up and about. Regardless of your cast-less and WB situation, you're still only 5 weeks out and there's still a lot of healing to be done. Try and take it easy and let that healing happen, as difficult (and annoying, and boring lol) as it may be :)

Feb 18 Walker to Crutches. Mar 4 Stairs. Mar 10 Crutches to cane
Apr 15 No more cane
Dec 2016 Still dealing with PTSD and anxiety, therapy ongoing.
