No, my DVT has never come back. It was treated with a week of injections and then 4 months of warfarin daily pills. My doctor believes it was caused by a combination of surgery trauma, being constricted in a cast and lack of sufficient movement/circulation from that. He did say that as a preventative measure I should do a 4 week course of blood thinners after any future surgeries, just to be safe.
Definitely keep pushing through the PT. It is difficult, but I promise it gets better and you will improve!

Feb 9 Cast off, WBAT, PT
Feb 18 Walker to Crutches. Mar 4 Stairs. Mar 10 Crutches to cane
Apr 15 No more cane
Dec 2016 Still dealing with PTSD and anxiety, therapy ongoing.
