Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, I can do a single-leg heel raise several times but it does hurt. How long did yours take to heal after you tore it? My eventual goal is to be able to run a half-marathon in November - hope I can make that goal :( On the bright side, I couldn't even do a single-leg heel raise 1-2 months ago, so there are improvements I guess.
30 nov'16: 5th metatarsal mid-shaft spiral FX
1 dec: plaster cast
16 dec: aircast, NWB
27 jan'17: Cleared to start PWB.
31 jan: 1st PT session, PWB with crutches and boot
16 feb: PT, WBAT with aircast
24 mar: Boot off, FWB! :) PT continues...
