Oh wow, you have really survived a terrible accident. It does sound like you have some healing time ahead of you.
I agree with binge watching, and also get some good books to read. I got into adult coloring books when I was recuperating. If you can pick up something crafty like crocheting or knitting, that will help pass the time. Reddit is also a website you can waste a lot of time on!
I made a point to reach out to friends for visits. I found people are happy to schedule you in, but everyone gets busy and it helps to be proactive in setting that up.
Good luck on your recovery process. Be sure to tackle the PT exercises when you get to that point; it really helps with getting better.
