On June 10 I fractured bothe my tibia and fibula doing a new gymnastics skill. I was supposed to be landing on a soft mat in the foam pit but ended up rolling my ankle and completely breaking both bones. I am now almost 4 weeks post-op. The doctor didn't cast it after the operation he just put it in a splint to leave room for swelling. At the two week apointment he put me in an aircast. I'm non-weight bearing for at least another 2 weeks if not 4. There is still a little sore pain where I think the fibula is. Is that normal? I'm not sure what's normal at this point so if someone with a similar experience could just tell me what to expect.
