Update on this- this have improved so much over the last couple of weeks. My PT gave me new exercises and scoffed at my doctor's comments. Since doing the new exercises and continuing my cycling and gym workouts, I think it's easy to say that in the last 2 weeks I have had no evenings of horrible pain. I still feel a little stiff and that reminds me to do my stretches (or oops, forgot my PT exercises today and better get those done).
I also picked up a compression bandage at the store a few weeks back that advertised "reduce pain, reduce swelling" and I've put it on a couple of evenings just to help with the swelling- makes a huge difference and no Advil needed!
09/30/2016- Fell in home, broke tib/fib. Surgery with hdwr
11/23/2016- Cast off, 50% WB and boot for next 6 wks
12/21/2016- Started physio
01/25/2017- FWB with boot for 6 +wks
03/15/2017- Boot off! Walking and physio
