Oh my god, I can't imagine how you and her feel. She's so lucky it wasn't worse and she survived. I'm sure recovery will feel achingly slow for her. I don't really have tips, but I know when my husband had to care for me after my injury I appreciated his patience. It's hard to be a caregiver, but it's also hard to sit there and have to ask yet again for help with something. So be patient with her, if she gets angry don't get angry back, keep the home health care and any help that comes in. If you have someone there to come clean the house/cook/etc and alleviate some of the pressure on you as a caregiver I'm sure that would be a good idea too.

09/30/2016- Fell in home, broke tib/fib. Surgery with hdwr
11/23/2016- Cast off, 50% WB and boot for next 6 wks
12/21/2016- Started physio
01/25/2017- FWB with boot for 6 +wks
03/15/2017- Boot off! Walking and physio
