12 years out after Fib,Tib compound fractures
LynnCarl    10:53am Sep 27 2017

Its been twelve years since the rod was put in my left leg. Everything is back to normal, except the foot pain never has gone away. I have learned to ignore it though. Really strange that if i touch something with my toes, the pain disappears as long as keep touching it. Being that it was a workers comp case, the insurance doctors never acknowledged that there was nerve damage, but I am certain that is what causes it. Other than that, all is good. I am very careful not to injure that leg. Kind of a phobia I guess.

Broken,repaired,recovered, and living with it.
