btw I don't write this to brag about recovery, I'm far from recovered.
However, I wanted you all to see that with hard work, determination and alot of physical therapy you will get there.
3 weeks ago I was limping around work barely able to walk, I couldn't bend my leg properly because of the swelling at the front of my ankle (and my whole calf actually) and it was quite frankly discouraging.
I've gone to PT 3 days a week and also done my exercises 3-4 times a day (including during my standup meetings at work), I've had my leg up on my desk at work icing during my day. I know I have a long way to go, as I can't run and don't have a whole bunch of strength but .. it's coming and I believe the work paid off.
So give your bones time to heal - for me it was 10 weeks in a cast .. and then get strong and flexible with the exercises your given.
