 Planning my life ahead
Aman    4:52am Oct 3 2017

Hello all,
I fractured my tib/fib on 1 September in a motorcycle accident, had a rod and plate inserted along with 9 screws;not using a cast. I am 23 years old and was planning to start my post graduate studies next year. However, I am worried about the pain I will experience moving to a colder and rainy region (Amsterdam). While some people claim to not have pain, many with plates do.

Should I reconsider my study options? I can't imagine being in pain during a mentally demanding year. Would love any advice on this matter!

I also want to thank this amazing community for making me feel a bit less depressed. It helps to know that my condition is not unique and many people have overcome it and left the injury behind.
