Re: Depression setting in - what you all doing today??

Harry, sympathies. It DOES get better, but yes it's a depressing situation to be in. You need to find several things to keep you occupied (so you can switch between them).

I was Run Director for my local parkrun (free, 5K (3.1 mile) timed run for all ages, all abilities) then ran a cross country race for my club, and tomorrow I will be going on a club run and doing about 19 miles, with about half of that on trail, which I always prefer.

And I still find myself thinking how lucky I am to be able to do this, after the weeks spent sitting on the sofa with my leg in plaster/boot.

And remember: solutions that require the use of a time machine are not solutions...

Fibula Fx lat. malleolus Weber B 12 June 2015
ORIF plate 18 June. Cast problems (allodynia) so boot from 25th but NWB.
25 July start PWB in boot, 7 Aug PWB without boot. 14th Aug few steps FWB.
9 Sept 10-steps jog 25 Sept: PT says go run!
