fractured tib fib, surgery and broken hardware
john m floyd    9:20am Nov 18 2017

It's been 9 months now. Ago.. On valentines day I got my right leg smashed after wrecking a scooter... Had multiple fractures just above my ankle in the tibia and fibula.. A week after accident..surgery was done and I have a plate in there now,, around the first week of April, my crutch slipped, on a wet floor, I instinctively beared weight on both my feet, I didn't feel much pain from this at first, didn't think anything else of it, after a week goes by I start experiencing sharp pains in the incision area as I would lay either side when sleeping.. Discovered after e. R. visit I I fact broke plate and refractured it.. My ortho. Said revision surgery wasn't needed, said it would heal up just no walking.. I also have no insurance, he cut me loose after my balance got too high.. Well here it is November, Im on my 3rd pair of crutches, still hurts, had another xray last week at e. R.. Break in plate is now staggered and overlapping(i have pic wish I could upload) I found a local program that helps with medical various ailments but e. R. Docs. Says no other ortho will touch his work, and as I said he is done with me. Am I stuck like this for life? I dunno what to do...
