Wow! It has been a while! Lovely to see everyone, but sorry you had to join!
Iíll get right to it- I was in a car crash in 2009, had 7 surgeries, NWB for quite a while. I still have daily swelling and pain issues in my R foot/ankle where I had the talus FX.
About two years ago I finally got back into exercising routinely. I do weights 3xs a week and run 2-3 miles 2-3 xs a week. I was feeling great, doing great, and now my knee is holding me back. Iím getting fairly severe pain right below my knee right on the tibia. It hurts to squat, run, sit down, stand up, basically anything involving bending of the knee. If I completely stop running & doing weights, the pain goes away. But Iím not interested in stopping my active lifestyle. It is on my R side, my bad ankle side, and Iím wondering if this could be causing it?
I went to a PT who was useless. Any ideas? Suggestions?
