1 year post surgery - Winter woes
Lena2017    10:05am Dec 26 2017

It's been a year since my fall and IM nail/screw surgery. Although I've made a lot of progress, I'm still waiting to feel 100%. Reading these posts it seems that it takes at least 12-18 months, if not more. I'm wondering about walking in the cold and then coming back into a warm environment - I did this yesterday and the knee was unprotected - I didn't feel much at the time, but this morning the whole knee is stiff. Does anyone else experience issues with cold and is there something I can do? I.e. cover the knee to keep it warmer than the rest of the leg? I concentrate on the knee because the bulk of the surgery happened there and it is the most uncomfortable part of the whole leg. Thanks for your thoughts!!!
