 hardware in winter
Kellie    6:20pm Jan 7 2018

Last February I shattered my ankle and broke my fibula so in my right leg I have a 5'' plate, 15 screws and wires. I live in New England, where for the past two weeks the weather has been frigid. Even though I'm 10 months post injury and out of physical therapy, when it gets this cold my ankle gets so stiff and sore, to the point where I'm limping around the house. Last night I put some Tiger Balm on it which helped loosen it up a bit. I also do my physical therapy stretches and exercises to help keep blood flowing. Will this go away over time and does anyone have suggestions to help ease the pain and stiffness?
