 nausea and depression
Debra W Pabst    7:53am Jan 13 2018

I broke my tib/fib and ankle on 11/26 falling down some stairs. It was a nasty fall, And I ended up needing an ORIF, with 4 plates, 11 screws.
I am seven weeks out, and will be starting out patient therapy soon, but am dealing with mood swings that are terrible. I'm also having bouts of nausea.
Some people say it is the pain medication. But I'm not taking that much any more, in fact, only 2 or 3 pills a day. That is down from 6-8 from when I was in the hospital and first discharged.
Sometimes I feel as if this will never end. That I will never be able to just get up and walk to the toilet by myself without the aid of a walker.
I suck at using crutches, and that means just getting down the three small steps out of my front door is a true hassle.
I just hope anyone can offer any encouragement at all. Thank you.
