Donít worry about breaking your leg again. The weight bearing will stimulate bone growth through increased blood flow. I even fell forward onto my leg when I was non weight bearing, and nothing happened. Weight bearing is good for your fracture. I even got on a workout machine and lifted weights with my leg before complete healing, and I was fine.
No healing at 6 weeks, complete healing at six months. I had a spiral fracture of tib fib and IM nail. I didnít bear weight until 6 weeks, and gradually worked my way up to full weight bearing. Good luck to you! Take your vitamins! High protein diet, lots of nuts!
