Re: Snow, Ice, dog walking and i badly broke my leg
Halo Steve    8:31am Mar 3 2018

Hi Debra - thanks for the reply.
That all makes sense.
I was wondering why they have put the cast so high up my leg given that the breaks are below my knee. Iíd guessed I was looking at a few
months of healing as Iíve read some older posts on here and that seems to be an average amount of time for these type of breaks.
Iím not sure re either an operation or full leg plaster? I guess Iíll have to wait and see what the consultant doctor says when I see him.

Iím keeping it elevated-otherwise it swells and throbs and is so painful (it is anyhow but keeping it elevated makes it marginally less so).

The start of a long journey I guess.
