 Weight Gain
llandon63    8:57pm Apr 5 2018

I am 16 weeks post compound tip fib. I fell about 8 feet while bouldering and hit part of the wall which snapped my leg. After physical therapy every Friday for eight weeks I am finally allowed to start climbing again (only with ropes though) The 4 months prior to the fall I was climbing 3 times a week and was getting in really good shape. Now I am the heaviest I have ever been and just feel awful about myself. It is impossible for me to cut myself slack, even though I was healing, because I have been eating everything in sight (I eat when I am stressed and emotional and this has been the most traumatic thing that has happened to me) Even going back climbing I'll only be able to do it really gently at first and won't be able to throw myself back into the get fit process and mind set. The fact that is going to take a really long time to lose all the weight is killing me. I really don't want diet tips or anything, maybe just to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way. Or that there is hope.
