Re: Is it normal to get pain 7 months post fracture?
Pauline M Hall    11:33am Jun 12 2018

As ASR has said, it is to be expected for pain to be a problem for long after the damage appears to have healed. I broke my tib and fib at the beginning of 2015 and still have twinges from time to time especially in damp cold weather. No that is not a myth.

20 weeks with broken tib /fib! Slow healing. Casts (5)
Week 26 Tibia healed 50% aircast
Week 33 Tibia 95% healed so boot outdoors and cane no boot indoors
Wk 36 Start PT
Week 39 Ditch boot.
Wk 43 Driving and normal trainers
Wk 46 Discharged
