 What now after 7 years?
calliejo56    4:39am Jul 5 2018

I have not been on this forum in years. After my surgery and extensive rehab, I have done well with no real limitations and minimal pain-- Until the last two nights. Morning of July 4 I woke up, still lying in bed, with pain in my leg in the area of the hardware. I took a celebrex which reduced but did not 100% eliminate the pain. Then last night, I was awakened at 1:30 am with really severe pain in the same area. Got up, took celebrex and eventually went back to sleep. It still hurts but is tolerable. I cannot see any change in the outward appearance of my leg. I have not being engaging in any unusual activity. What can this be? All I can think of is infection or hardware loosening, neither of which is good.

04-11-11 Severe depressed TPF left leg
04-14-11 ORIF with plate and screws; subcutaneous fasciotomy
04-16-11 discharged from hospital with hinged brace
