 Cast Etiquette Sock or toes?
Allessandra    2:32pm Sep 1 2018

I am to get fitted for my first cast on Tuesday and I am in a dither trying to get ready for a long tour in plaster. One of the things i can't figure lout is whether I should keep my toes covered with a sock or paint them and let them stick out. Open toe shoes are not encouraged where I work; they are thought to be too flirty. But I can already tell from wearing the plaster splint that my foot will get hot in the cast. If i do have to wear a sock is it rude to remove it when others are around. People seem to pay a lot of attention to my toes in this splint I am wearing and i think the cast will be more noticeable.
