Re: two years after- pain and hardware?
SMM    1:53pm Jan 11 2019

So good to hear about your recovery, and sorry that there is lingering pain. I don't know about hardware being an issue, but you have exactly the right idea about what to do. Ask your doctor as many questions as possible to find out just exactly what the cause is. Treatment may involve some simple physio, or more. I think knowing the exact cause will help determine any treatment that may be necessary. Is it the hardware? Could it be nerve issues from the initial trauma? Could your walking gait be stressing soft tissues that are causing the pain? Could it be shin splints? Some trauma takes many months to heal, and could this resolve in the coming months? I hope the dr. visit went well.

Best wishes,
