It was in the summer of '15 that my femoral fracture took place.
Three months after the surgery and fixing of the screws, I was back to
work again. The surgeon told me to 'forget it' and I have been trying to do it
I consider myself 80-90 percent healed, the only difference I have felt being
the muscular weakness that comes occasionally and lasts for few days, an
overworked feeling at the joint after long walks, but I have been careful
about not exerting that leg too much and avoided gym so far.
Recently after watching a TV channel about fitness I tried a few exercises at
home, mostly due to my nature of work giving me ample opportunity to
stay at home.
Since I was not a regular at it, I began getting some pains in all joints, then
I slowed the pace. The pains have mostly subsided.
Except that while bending my body there is this hint of pain at the
top of my leg.
While waking up in the morning also this discomfort becomes evident
while stretching my leg.
This goes away top of my during the day when I am kept busy. It comes back
whenever I have stayed motionless for too long.
Is it due to the winter? Is it some kind of arthritis?
Should I wait for the winter to pass or should I go and meet my surgeon
Esp. I am in a quandary since I have moved to a new city that is 1400 km
