Re: Ideal height to elevate leg

Hi again Mike,

My elevation strategy was to fold a large, queen sized comforter into a length that would fit not only my lower leg and knee, but a large part of my thigh, and then topping that with two pillows end-to-end. The more surface area helped me relax and not feel like I was balancing the leg on top of something.
Good luck with sleep; it's so difficult in the beginning but will improve as your leg heals and the swelling reduces. I found that guided relaxation (there's a lot of videos on youtube) helped me push past that pure rage that forms when you've been laying awake for hours with no sleep.
