I am glad to hear your employer understands! That is such a load off. My job still allows me to work from home, which is so great. It really helps to be in your own environment when recovering from such a serious injury and surgery.
I empathize with your current state- I remember feeling almost disgusted at the sensation of placing my foot on the floor and feeling all the swelling/lack of mobility in my ankle and the pain as well. It's tough and can be so demoralizing on the tough days.
It sounds like you're on the right track and making smart decisions. Hope you're able to have a nice weekend and a happy Easter if you celebrate!
14 Sept 2018- hit by car, compound open tib/fib fracture, ORIF surgery to insert IM nail + 5 screws
19 Sept 2018- released from hospital, no cast, NWB
22 Oct 2018- 30% PWB, started physio
04 Dec 2018- working towards 100% WB indoors
