Hi WB! Thanks for checking in on me. It's "ok" I guess. As ok as it could be anyway. "Most" of the soreness from manipulation is gone, and while I'm currently sitting here with it propped up....it doesn't feel too bad. As long ad I don't try to do too much. As far as getting used to the cast...it's a work in progress. While I certainly like it much better than that awkward, heavy splint, it's still huge and cumbersome to get around in. I do however greatly appreciate the added stability it provides my leg. Getting around is still somewhat difficult, but not quite as painful. I don't feel like the splint held my bones in place I guess "tight enough "? If that makes sense? Sometimes it seemed like I could almost feel my broken bones "grate" or "grind " against themselves if I moved a certain way. Could have just been my imagination though? I don't seem to have too much of that with this cast. But I'm thinking it might still be a little while before I have say I'm getting used to it.
