Wow, thank you so much for telling me a little about your story and how you have made it to where you are today. It sounds like it's been a long road and hopefully you'll be back at 100% very soon. I love reading the "success stories " on here. They're so inspiring. Just like you said, it makes me feel like...if you can do that...then I can do this! Like I've read from a few different people in here, the first few weeks are the worst. But now that I'm very slowly being able to get around a little less painfully, I feel it has made some difference in my overall attitude. We had some friends and family over this weekend and it was nice just to get off the couch and sit outside for a few hours. First time I got to use the wheelchair I have and it was ok. Piled some pillows under my cast, the girlfriend wheeled me outside, and we hung out on the patio all afternoon. It was really nice.

5/7/19- suffered fractured ankle, grade 2 high ankle sprain, and fractured tibia. Full leg backslab splint.
5/17/19- 1st ortho appt. No surgery, fiberglass full leg cast applied.
6/1/19- 2nd ortho appt. Cast change, another full leg cast applied. NWB
