 Good surgeon follow-up visit!
Arwen Clevelandstar    7:55pm Jun 3 2019

So I'm at 11 weeks post-surgery and had a f/u w/surgeon today. New x-rays. Bones are healed on both sides. Ok to move to partial weight bearing with the walker and aircast as tolerated, and begin PT next week. Plate on outside of leg is pressing right under my skin and causing a sore but hopefully that will go away if/once I move to a low-cut athletic shoe, in two weeks. He said I can have it removed next year if it's bothering, so that will be more surgery I guess, but I want it out of there, it hurts. But I forgot to ask about sleeping. When is it safe to sleep out of this horrible monstrous boot? I assume I'm not going to be putting it on just to sleep after 2 more weeks when I move to tennis shoes. Thoughts, wise leg peeps?
