I agree that you should put a claim in. Itís unfortunate that it was during a time when you were doing charity work, but you are off work now for an indefinite period of time form an injury sustained while working. If you donít claim now it will be harder down the road. I needed some financial assistance when I broke my ankle on my own property, so I had to rely on government assistance. If you find yourself taking a financial hit you need to be sure you go through the right channels or you have a pretty high likelihood of being denied.

I hope you leg heals well and the nerve can regenerate.
