No worries Annette,
It's a worrying scary time :-(
I was also told that x-ray do not always pick up healing, your leg may well be healing but not enough for an x-ray to pick up? Just a thought.
Hang in there x
There are swings and roundabouts in regards to plaster v metal work - half caste / full caste / metal work & screws / metal work rod & screws / 2 plates.....I could go on. Doctors treat breaks differently and each seems to be kind of unique. All I know is people feel in the same way - the same sort of worries / pain / loss / depression ect. I found a way to cope - nature mainly and my cooking and planning - not my usual activities at all. I have been 'anchored' to my home a lot but have managed my sanity and enjoyed my temporary time here (in the most horrible circumstances).
My body has changed in that I have lost most of my fitness and gained weight and loss muscle but I am happy (believe it or not!).
Your break is your graph - up and down, sometimes more down than up, but it WILL go up.
Take lots of care today x
