I'm glad to hear you're making it through! Yeah, it's bizarre to see and touch the screws through the skin. I also have the most pain with the screws close to my knee. I agree with your idea that the hardware is a protector- In the beginning I was so grateful to have it because otherwise healing would have been even slower. That's a good thing to remember!

19 Sept 2018- released from hospital, NWB
04 Dec 2018- allowed 30%, working towards 100% WB indoors
18 Feb 2019- First steps!
