Re: Using an office chair with wheels at home
SMM    10:58am Oct 2 2019

Hi Ayse,

That is a great idea. A few ties, I had to rely on wheelchairs and they did make life and recovery easier. One issue (and I think the same might be true for office chairs??) is that they are restricted by narrow passages, tiny spaces and other barriers. In those cases, I relied on crutches and carried a bag and filled it to get what I needed from location to location. Moving tea and coffee (in thermoses) and lunch (packed) became no problem. I always suggest moving things in bags, or I think maybe even an apron with a pouch would be a great help when needing crutches while non/partial weight bearing.

Best wishes,
Matt
