It really depends on your pain level when walking, if itís high, wear tennis shoes, they give you sooo much better support. Also if you need to go up/down stairs wear tennis shoes because it will give your foot better support, and you will worry less about a weak ankle collapse. But if you donít have a lot of pain, going barefoot is fine. I broke my legs twice, and when Iím upstairs I only really move from my room to the bathroom, so I donít need shoes for that. But when I go downstairs I like shoes, because it makes going down the stairs less nerve wracking.
