I think the biggest thing that helped me get that foot pain under control was standing on one leg (the bad leg). When you first do it, it hurts like hell, like a thousand knives in your foot! But once I started doing that the pain started to lessen more and more. :) But make sure you have something to hold on or fall against (like a counter) when doing it, and when you first do it do it only for 10 seconds.
Now Iím trying to regain my balance by standing on one leg, but it doesnít hurt anymore. :í)
